How to Get Started as a Plexus Distributor
Today's I Want to Be features Courtney Cordova, who is a Plexus distributor. Courtney has two children, ages 5 and 8. She homeschools her oldest due to learning disabilities. Between being a momma, homeschooling, and working, Courtney is very busy, especially considering that her husband works overseas a month at a time. Find out how to connect with Courtney at the end of this article.
What led you to pursue your business?
My husband works overseas a month at a time so there are many times I am
a single momma. I had to find something that could add money into our
family budget, work around my schedule, and let me have a sense of purpose. I
found that all in Plexus.
Are you full time or part time? If part-time, do you anticipate
switching to full time?
I will always remain part time as my
priority is my kids and home. However with this business you can have
full time income while working part time.
How do you market your business?
I market my business through Facebook posts
on my personal page and business page www.facebook.com/thatpinkdrinkgirl. I am on Pinterest and will be starting to
market on Instagram and YouTube this month. I have done tasting parties
so people can taste the product but that is not necessary to be successful. Small
trade shows, neighborhood festivals, and vendor fairs are wonderful for
introducing any product to your target audience.
What is your favorite part of the business?
My favorite part of this business is
changing people's lives. This isn't just a weight loss product.
These are health and wellness products that have changed people's lives,
including mine. I have lost over 21 inches and 13 pounds on the product in less
than 4 months. But the best part is that my back pain that was due to
three issues (Sacroilliac Joint Dysfunction, Myofascial Pain, Piriformis
Syndrome) completely vanished after 4 days on the product.
What one question do you get most from people about your
business?
One myth that I want to dispel is that network marketing or Multi Level Marketing isn't for them or that it is some kind of pyramid scheme. This is the first time I have ever been involved in an MLM opportunity. I had always been that person that declined to go to the makeup, candle, and bag parties for fear that someone was going to ask me to "be on their team". Well, now I am a leader of a team and love it. The opportunity I have with Plexus is second to none, and I can't wait to see what this next year brings me.

What advice do you have for others who want to get into a similar
opportunity?
Whatever you want to call it - being blessed, the law of attraction, karma etc... I believe that you can be whatever you want to be; you just have to BELIEVE it will happen. Success just doesn't come and find you, you have to go out and get it!!!
What is the first step?
The first step to get involved in any MLM
is do your homework and make sure the company you are going to get involved in
supports you, has a great pay structure, and is centered around a fantastic
product. Plexus is the only company that I have found that has all those
things.
